The entire village of Ezbit Al-Tabib is located in Area C, presenting significant challenges for development and governance. The population consists of 225 residents across 45 households. The village lacks a kindergarten, and its primary school operates out of a rented building, highlighting the urgent need for educational infrastructure improvements.
Ezbit Al-Tabib also faces severe deficiencies in basic services, with some of the lowest percentages of housing units connected to water and electricity networks in the region.
The village’s first submission to the Israeli Civil Administration (ICA) was made by the IPCC on June 26, 2012, covering an area of 423 dunums. Since then, nine versions of the outline plan have been submitted, with the latest submission on March 30, 2014, covering a reduced area of 129.4 dunums. The plan received final authorization in February 2017.
