The three winning initiatives were selected by a panel of judges, which participated in the regional conference on 19th October 2018 as part of the “Youth for Change Agents” project, which is supported by the UNDEF. The three initiatives will be implemented on the ground from among the 13 initiatives presented by the participating groups, where the winning initiatives had been selected based on a number of criteria:
Is the initiative implementable?
Does the initiative support the surrounding community by utilizing public space?
Are the results and impact of the initiative measureable?
Will the initiative contribute to the development process?
Will the proposed community initiative succeed?
Is the expected impact realistic and responsive to societal needs?
Does the initiative contribute to the level of knowledge enrichment of its members?
Is the duration of the implementation of the initiative sufficient?
Has the sustainability of the initiative been taken into consideration?
