Imneizel is a Palestinian locality in Area C, located to the south of Hebron governorate, adjacent to Bir Sabe', and surrounded by Samou' from the east-south and Yatta from the south. Imneizel has a population of 500 people according to IPCC in 2015, 60 housing units and an area of 50 dunum.
An outline plan has been prepared by IPCC for Imneizel to protect it from the demolition orders and to support its development. Working on the outline plan has started with the community in 2010 until 2014. The plan has been discussed with the community several times and discussed with the Israeli civil administration (ICA) 14 times during the 3 years. Infrastructure plans for water, wastewater, transportation and profiles for the roads have been prepared also. Therefore, the plans have been developed and changed until they reached the objection stage for 60 days in November 2013 and the final authorization to be admitted for implementation in 4 March 2019 with an area of 192 dunums, where 142.6 dunum are for residential development.
After the authorization of the outline plan, the people started to build new houses. EU and USAID started to implement several projects in Imneizel according to the prepared plans and to the priority needs of the locality which defined by a community participation activity; these projects are: implementing water network, water tank with a capacity of 250 m3, opening and paving roads with a length of 1200 m, rehabilitation of the existing clinic, building a kindergarten, designing and decorating the public park and the entrance of the locality.
